Product Description Theses HDMI® Extender can extend an HDMI® video signal up to 30 meters over two Cat6 ethernet cables run through the walls. This unit supports all NTSC and PAL video resolutions up to 1080p with 24/36 bit Deep Color. It supports LPCM, Dolby®-AC3, DTS 7.1, and DSD audio signals. This is a passive device, so no power adapter is needed! Features: Support High Speed HDMI® signals (1080p) Supports Deep Color Passive, no power adapter required FCC and CE Approved Note: We strongly recommend the use of minimum 24 AWG HDMI® cables when connecting a device, such as this extender, between the source and destination devices to ensure minimal signal loss and maximum High Speed signal reliability. Note: Although this extender will work with Cat5e UTP cables, we STRONGLY recommend using Cat6 STP cabling for anything longer than minimal distances. Cat6 STP cabling will provide the highest reliability and signal integrity to ensure that your installation is trouble-free under all conditions for years to come.
